An avid technologist with 20+ years taking infrastructure, platforms, and now AI agents from demo to production.

    What multiplies output is not the model, it is the harness around it: the codified context, skills, hooks, sub-agents, and humans, all aligned on new ways of working, with an SME squad or operators behind it. One rule makes the whole thing work: lean context engineering. And the part I genuinely did not see coming was that codifying the AI forced the humans to align, quicker and sooner. A real harness running on Google Cloud, delivering with a fraction of the planned team at a throughput that sounds made up until you see the headcount delta — plus the foobars and the parts that still need tuning every single week. The weekend pioneer who ships miracles is real and worth talking about. But how many pioneers does your organisation have, and can you run an enterprise on pioneers alone?

    We Figured Out the Build Phase. Now, Let's Solve the Agent Run Phase

    The build side is solved: staffed, patterned, demoed. The run is not. Who owns the agent on a Tuesday when its behaviour drifts, the git diff is empty, and the dashboard is still green? Deployed to production is not the same as approved to operate live, and between the two sit four acceptance tracks — security, data, compliance, operations — each needing a named owner. Decision latency has quietly replaced engineering as the bottleneck. An enabling session on what the run phase actually needs: agent registry, gateway, identity, named Day-2 ownership, and a lifecycle plan for systems that keep changing after go-live.
